Repair Cafés are located in the Prince Albert Science Centre in the Gateway Mall

Do I need to make an appointment?
Appointments are not necessary, but if you do contact us with information about the item you need repaired, it can help us in planning.
What does it cost?
We do not charge for repairing items.
We have a limited supply of parts on hand so in some cases we may give you detailed information about the parts you will need to purchase to complete the repair. You can then purchase the parts and bring those parts together with the broken item to the next repair Café and we can work together on making the repair.
If you wish to, you can make a contribution.
What Can I Expect at the Repair Café?
- Free parking at the Gateway Mall
- At the greeting table our hosts will welcome you and answer any questions you may have
- If you have an item for repair we will ask you to sign a waiver form
- You will be directed to a repair station if one is available, otherwise we will have you wait until a station becomes free
- Enjoy a beverage (coffee or tea) and a simple snack
